If all had a regular supply of tokens as birth right (see unconditional basic income) that would drastically reduce the potential for corruption and vote/opinion buying. It would empower people to make choices that are in their best interest instead of being forced by necessity. In short, whether our future – that I expect to be heavily running on the blockchain – will be bright or dark depends on the presence of unconditional Basic Income as founding stone of our system, with AI taking care of most production and services (as to say taking our jobs and making us free to follow our call and devote our time to what makes us feel alive regardless of whether it generates profit or not).
